Pre-Season Training 2011/12 

Pre-Season Training has been well attended with good sessions since late July. Training will now move outdoors this week and players are advised to get there ready to start at 5pm, as we only have limited light. The rest of the training schedule is as follows:

Tuesday 13th September - Saxons Indoor 6-7pm

Thursday15th September - Peninsula School Nets 5-6.30pm

Tuesday 20th September - Saxon Indoor 6-7pm

Thursday 22th September - Peninsula School nets 5-6.30pm

Saturday 24th September - Practice match v Baden Powell @ Baden Powell - time TBA

Tuesday 27th September - Peninsula School nets 5-6.30pm

Thursday 29th September - Peninsula School nets 5-6.30pm

Tuesday 4th October - Peninsula School nets 5.30-7.30pm

Thursday 6th October - Peninsula School nets 5.30-7.30pm - Selection to follow training.

Saturday 8th October - Round 1

NB - u/15 and u/17 junior cricketers are welcome and encouraged to attend senior training until each junior team has organised training days and times. The senior players are more than happy to offer coaching tips to the juniors, and by training with the seniors they will be well prepared for the start of the junior season.

The Peninsula Old Boys Cricket Club has reached the top, winning the Provincial 1st XI premiership for the first time. A long way from Sub-District in 2003/04!
